Frequently Asked Questions1. Do I have to register to search jobs on your website? No! Job seekers only have to register if they wish to submit a resume to our our database. Jobseekers do not have to register if they only wish to view job opportunities and email their resumes directly to employers. 2. How do I post my resume? From any page you will see the "Post Resume" link in the navigation bar at the top of the page. Simply click on it and enter your email address when prompted. A form will appear where you can type in your employment history or paste your information in from a word document. It is important to remember that you must update your resume at least once per year for it to remain active in the database. 3. I'm interested in a job I saw posted on your site. How do I apply? Once you have found a position, read it thoroughly for instructions on how to apply. Generally there are two buttons at the bottom of the listing. The first button "Apply with Posted Resume" will allow you to apply for the job instantly using the resume you have uploaded in our database. If you have not already uploaded your resume, you will want to do so now. The other option is to click the button "Apply Via Email." This button will allow you to send your cover letter and resume with your own email account. Some employers prefer you fax, call or apply in person. 4. What are Job Alerts? JustOrlandoJobs will email you when new jobs are posted that may be of interest to you. Click the link titled "Job Alerts". Enter your email address to set up your account. You will have to verify your email address before you begin to receive notifications. Once your account is validated, select which categories you are interested in and for the next 60 days you will be notified of all new job postings. You can even decide if you want weekly or daily alerts! You may also unsubscribe if you no longer want to receive notifications before your 60 days is finished. Re-registration is required for future job alerts. |
